May 19, 2012 – At the 2012 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Howard Nations was inducted into the Trial Lawyer Hall of Fame. Each year, The Trial Lawyer Hall of Fame recognizes and honors a few remarkable trial lawyers who have left an indelible mark on the American legal tradition through a lifetime of service to the American public and the Constitution, and who have distinguished themselves as an advocate in the courtroom.
As a leader of the trial bar, Howard served as president of The National Trial Lawyers, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Southern Trial Lawyers Association, the Melvin Belli Society and the Aletheia Institute, and five years on AAJ’s Executive Committee. This is the latest in a series of awards and acknowledgements Howard has received including the Melvin Belli Society’s Mel Award, MTMP’s Clarence Darrow Award, STLA’s War Horse Award, AAJ’s Heavy Lifting Award, and STLA’s Tommy Malone Great American Eagle Award. Howard is also acknowledged annually in Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law and Who’s Who in Finance and Industry.
